Our Policy

Payment Policies

You must arrange for payment of your classes in order for your registration to be completed. Most classes run continuously from September to May/June, with tuition charged monthly. A deposit is required at the time of registration to hold your spot. If you prefer not to use a credit card we can accept e-transfers or post-dated cheques. You will need to email us at the office to register without a credit card.



Withdrawal

If you wish to discontinue please notify us prior to the next billing date. If you must withdraw please contact us by email. If you give us enough advance notice we will be able to match your last payment to your preferred last class date.





Health Precautions

RSV and other contagious illnesses are still prevalent. If your family have symptoms of any kind, do not come to class. Stay home and feel better soon! We ask for your co-operation in keeping your teacher healthy, and to protect the youngest babies.



Photographs

We will not be taking photos of the children in class. You can take photos or video of your own child and your instructor, but please do not include other members of the class without their permission.





Prorated tuition

If you are joining us after the September start date we might be in the middle of a billing cycle. An adjustment will be made to either your first or second payment to get you in sync with everyone else.



If you must miss a class

You are welcome to attend another time slot if it works for your schedule. This could also be a great time for a grandparent, aunt or uncle to bring your child to a class you might not otherwise be able to fit in your schedule.

Your make-ups expire as soon as you cease to be enrolled. There will be no refunds or credits given if you decide not to use them. If you are traveling, we recommend doing a make-up or two before you go, and maybe afterwards as well.



Text Messages

If at all possible, please ensure there is a cell phone number on your contact info. We are using this as an alternate form of contact for the many families who do not receive email reliably. We will limit using it to important or urgent communications. With your enrolment you give consent for us to send text messages. (If you do not have a cell phone you will receive the message by email.)



Email and Privacy Policy

Email is the primary form of communication for important information about your Kindermusik class (statements, changes, cancellations, snowstorms etc). Please provide an email address that you actively use. Your personal information will be used by us for class, registration and payment purposes, and will not be shared.



Release of Liability

With this enrollment, I release any and all rights and claims for damages against Nancy Aasland, Kindermusik Discovery, and its staff in the unlikely event of injury or illness sustained by myself or my child(ren) during the course of or as a result of my enrollment at Kindermusik Discovery.
